much of what we do on a daily basis is routine and of no particular, earth-shaking importance.
however, after reviewing letters of family going back to wwii, it is fascinating to read what dad was doing on board the aircraft carrier in the pacific on any old day, what mom was cooking on her ever-steaming range, how i was dealing with the roller coaster of emotion at bethel [mom saved all my letters], how nana wrote that she would not study with the witnesses [per my request] but 'here are some mittens i knitted for you when you canvass new york with your magazines.
Sigh...
Finally blew my top with someone at work today. The guy is such a parasite - takes everything, doesn't clean up after himself, gives nothing back - and slags everyone else off if they dare to try the same! How does one deal with such a person whilst trying to continue with one's own work and without coming off worse?
One day, someone will give him a serious thumping - it might be me at this rate lol!

Its past midnight and I'm wide awake - well my mind is, my eyes are tired. Been another long and busy day at work again.
my sole kitty is lying next to me, we're jes chillin' for now. I'm going to go and find him a new buddy in a couple of weeks when I can get time off work
happy pancake day everyone.. i started my pancake day last night really, lol.
had some chocolate ones for pudding.. today i have the traditional one's, lemon and sugar.
delish!.
At work today, someone suggested we had a pancake making competition to 'see who was the best tosser' LOL!
Ah well, some of us don't need much entertaining!

Ah, time - so precious, never seems like there is enough of it! Or is it that we do have enough time but try to cram too much in?
I had one of those 'going nowhere fast' days today. I also have sieve syndrome - I can't remember half the things I've done/not done - the chief thing was forgetting to get my tea cooking in the slow cooker before I left for work this morning - so I've just had to make do with a McD's, yuck!
The weather is much warmer than it was a few weeks back and the daylight hours are getting longer, everything seems full of hope.
I'm a member of a society which has affilliate membership of the YMCA - we aren't a Christian group and we aren't asked to make any declarations. Since an affiliated group doesn't ned to be specifically Christian (or even theistic), I doubt whether an individual has to be. On the other hand, if a Christian ethos is written into the articles of association, by becoming a member, you are effectively assenting to those articles, whether or not you actually agree with them.

..instead i have been surfing the net for the last hour or so, catching up a tiny bit on online school work, then coming here and reading and posting.. i have a job that allows me to write my own schedule.
i probably average about 20 hours a week, most of that on saturday and sunday.
my job is bill collector, so i work when people are home.
When I get away from my computer, it's to go to work - in a place with no windows
I work a permanent late shift too, so since September I've only seen around 2 hours of daylight each day. It totally screws the body clock

i know in 2002 i posted the fact that someone called me & told me that the wt was saying god had a body.
if you read that site ,you will see i had to apologise,it was a faullty read.. well today i have recieved a call from an ex curcuit servants wife informing me that the feb 1st wt 2009 page 5 .
seems to be indicating it .god has a body,,,.
What I am noticing about the public Watchtower mags is that they are really pushing the What Does the Bible Really Teach? book - maybe trying to get more studies in??

So they're saying he has a spiritual body, not a physical one. That final sentence, along with the next few paragraphs in the article looks as if they might be trying make a clear distinction between the personof jehovah and the Holy Spirit (not a person in WT eyes). However they might also be inadvertently denying one of the qualities of God though - that of his omnipresence.
